Chiropractic Care
Bring your body back into balance.
Chiropractic care is a general term that refers to a wide variety of doctors using methods, techniques, and tools to help your body heal and feel great. Dr. Ginette and her team utilize scientifically proven, modern instrumentation to help you reach your health goals as quickly and gently as possible.
Chiropractic revolves around preserving balance in the human body and its natural self-healing capacity. Through gentle, focused care, Dr. Ginette helps patients heal, recover, and feel their best.
She is trained in –and uses – a variety of adjustment techniques and care depending on a patient’s needs and goals. One of the main techniques utilizes a highly sophisticated adjusting instrument. This complex instrument is able to sense your body’s response to an adjustment. It is extremely precise, efficient, and comfortable.

Frequently Asked Questions:
-
A chiropractic adjustment is a gentle and precise movement applied to the spine or other joints in the body. It helps restore proper joint movement and supports the nervous system so your body can function at its best.
Some chiropractors perform manual adjustments that may produce a popping sound. This sound is simply gas being released from the joint, similar to the sound when opening a soda can. It is normal and not harmful.
Dr. Ginette specializes in gentle, precise instrument adjustments, so there is no twisting, cracking, or popping during treatment.
-
Your spine plays an important role in how your body moves, supports posture, and maintains mobility. A healthy spine helps you perform daily activities comfortably and move freely.
Your spine also protects your central nervous system, including the spinal cord and nerve roots that communicate with the rest of your body, much like your skull protects your brain.
-
Yes. Chiropractic adjustments are safe, natural, and use gentle, precise pressure with minimal force. Most people find them relieving. Dr. Ginette performs a thorough assessment before care to ensure it’s appropriate and will refer out or modify the plan as needed if any contraindications are present.

Chiropractors in Canada complete a minimum of seven to eight years of postsecondary education, including a four-year Doctor of Chiropractic program with extensive classroom and clinical training at an accredited chiropractic college.
In Ontario, chiropractors are regulated by the College of Chiropractors of Ontario and must complete continuing education each year to maintain their license.
Dr. Ginette is a lifelong learner and continually expands her expertise. She has completed additional training, including certification in Pediatric Chiropractic through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association, certification in Animal Chiropractic through the Veterinary Chiropractic Learning Centre, and board certification in Neurofeedback, also known as brain training.

The length of care depends on your goals and the reason you came in. Some people seek care for short term relief, while others choose ongoing care to maintain spinal health and optimize function.
We will recommend a care plan based on your needs, goals, and lifestyle, but the decision to continue care is always yours.

Many parents seek chiropractic care for their children to support their overall health and development. Some families come in because of specific concerns such as colic, sport injuries, headaches, or posture issues.
Chiropractors check the spine for areas of dysfunction that may affect nervous system function and overall body performance. Chiropractors do not treat diseases but focus on improving how the body functions.
Dr. Ginette holds a postdoctoral certification in pediatric chiropractic from the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association and has extensive experience caring for children. Techniques are always adapted to the child’s size, age, and needs, often using gentle instruments.
